Itaconix receives new patent for detergent compositions
Itaconix (LSE: ITX) (OTCQB: ITXXF), a leading innovator in sustainable specialty polymers, is pleased to announce that the US Patent and Trademark Office has formally issued a new patent to the Company for the composition of detergents containing Itaconix’s novel biobased polymers.
This new patent provides the Company an additional layer of intellectual property protection for the unique value of Itaconix polymers in non-phosphate automatic dishwashing detergents. In addition, the new patent extends the Company’s proprietary position in key detergent compositions to 2037.
