Shaw shared that SPARX aligns with the company's roots in delivering better performance, affordability and safety in various sectors, including home care and laundry. Discussing the motivation behind SPARX, Shaw said, "We've already done that in certain product categories, and we see big opportunities to do it in others in the future." He emphasised that this initiative is a collaboration with brands, contract manufacturers, and other companies to introduce new products that not only perform better but also ensure safety, affordability, and renewability. Additionally, Shaw highlighted the significance of launching SPARX at SEPAWA, one of the largest home care conferences, where Itaconix will present exciting data on the biodegradability of its polymers. SPARX is expected to impact major markets like laundry care, beauty care, and pet care in the coming years, with a particular focus on high-performing, sustainable products. ![background image](https://8820271.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/8820271/assets/images/backgrounds/glow-cta-bar.svg) ### Investor and Shareholder Information [Get the Info](https://itaconix.com/investors/share-information) ## Related Articles [Investor Video Interview: CEO John Shaw discusses Itaconix’s half-year results & digital strategy Sep 10, 2024 6:19 min watch ![](https://8820271.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/8820271/hubfs/proactive-interview-itaconix-half-year-results-digital-strategy.png?width=450&height=250&name=proactive-interview-itaconix-half-year-results-digital-strategy.png) ](https://itaconix.com/blog/proactive-interview-half-year-results-digital-strategy) [Investor Video Proactive Interview: Itaconix targeting 'very aggressive growth' Sep 12, 2023 5:49 min watch ![](https://8820271.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/8820271/hubfs/proactive-interview-itaconix-targeting-very-aggressive-growth-blog-1.png?width=450&height=250&name=proactive-interview-itaconix-targeting-very-aggressive-growth-blog-1.png) ](https://itaconix.com/blog/itaconix-targeting-very-aggressive-growth-during-remainder-of-2023) [Investor Video Interview: Itaconix achieves record revenue in 2023 Feb 28, 2024 6:51 min watch ![](https://8820271.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hub/8820271/hubfs/interview-itaconix-achieves-record-revenue-blog.png?width=450&height=250&name=interview-itaconix-achieves-record-revenue-blog.png) ](https://itaconix.com/blog/interview-itaconix-achieves-record-revenue-in-2023-eyes-further-growth-in-eco-friendly-product-markets-28-february-2024) ## Subscribe via Email Subscribe to our blog to get insights sent directly to your inbox. ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Emily Garcia", "url" : "https://itaconix.com/blog/author/emily-garcia" }, "dateModified" : "2025-11-26T19:43:41.962Z", "datePublished" : "2024-10-16T16:00:00.000Z", "headline" : "Interview: Itaconix launches SPARX at SEPAWA", "image" : [ "https://8820271.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/8820271/SPARX-proactive-interview.png" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://itaconix.com/blog/proactive-interview-itaconix-launches-sparx-program", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://8820271.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/8820271/assets/images/logos/logo-full-color.png" }, "name" : "Itaconix" } } ```
