Formulators and brand managers, use Itaconix's formula to create high-performance plant-based Automatic Dishwasher Machine Cleaner.

Description: 22 gram automatic dishwasher machine cleaner tablet with Itaconix® ONZ™ 405 and Itaconix® TSI® 422 for excellent odor neutralization and scale inhibition.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Function wt%
Malic acid Hard water stain remover 35.0%
Citric acid Hard water stain remover 30.0%
Sorbitol Process aid 10.0%
Maltodextrin Process aid 8.0%
Sodium chloride Salt 5.3%
Sodium carbonate Mineral-based processing and cleaning aid 5.0%
Itaconix® TSI® 422 Scale inhibitor 3.0%
Sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate surfactant Boosts grease and stain removal 1.8%
Itaconix® ONZ™ 405 Odor neutralizer 1.5%
Oleic acid Defoamer 0.2%
Fragrance Adds scent to product 0.2%

 

Directions:

  •  Add sodium carbonate, citric acid and malic acid to the mixer
  • Add Itaconix® ONZ™ 405, Itaconix® TSI® 422, sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate, sorbitol, maltodextrin, sodium chloride and oleic acid while mixing and mix until homogenous with no clumps
  • Spray fragrance onto powder while mixing until homogenous with no clumps
  • Blended powder can be pressed into a tablet

Plant-Based Content: 55-90% based on ingredient selection

Product Properties:

  • Appearance: Free flowing granular powder 
  • pH: 2.5

Usage: One tablet per wash once a month or as needed
