Formulators and brand managers, use Itaconix's formula to create high-performance plant-based Compact Economy Automatic Dishwasher Detergent Powder.

Description: 9 gram automatic dishwasher detergent powder for use as powder, pod or tablet with Itaconix® TSI® 422 for outstanding spotting and filming results.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Function wt%
Sodium carbonate Mineral-based cleaning agent 50.3%
Sodium percarbonate Boosts stain removal 23.7%
Itaconix® TSI® 422 Boosts shine and cleaning performance 9.3%
Sodium citrate dihydrate Manages water hardness 8.4%
Alcohol alkoxylate surfactant Boosts grease removal and rinse aid 4.0%
Protease enzyme Boosts protein soil removal 2.0%
Sodium silicate Protects glasses and dishes 1.5%
Amylase enzyme Boosts starch soil removal 0.8%
Fragrance Adds scent to product q.s.

 

Directions:

  • Add sodium carbonate to mixer
  • Spray surfactant onto sodium carbonate while mixing until no clumps
  • Add Itaconix® TSI® 422, sodium citrate dihydrate, and sodium silicate while mixing
  • Add enzymes while mixing
  • Add fragrance while mixing
    If the powder is below and remains below 95°F (35°C) then add sodium percarbonate while mixing and mix until homogenous with no clumps.
    If the powder exceeds 95°F (35°C) during or after blending in sodium percarbonate, stop blending and undertake standard safety procedures to cool and isolate the powder.

Plant-Based Content: 55-90% based on ingredient selection
