Formulators and brand managers, use Itaconix's formula to create high-performance plant-based Premium Compact Multi-Chamber Automatic Dishwasher Detergent Pod.

Description: 10.2 gram premium multi-chamber automatic dishwasher detergent pod with Itaconix® TSI® 422 for outstanding spotting and filming results.

Ingredients:

Ingredient Function wt%
Powder Chamber:    
Sodium carbonate Mineral-based cleaning agent 35.5%
Sodium percarbonate Boosts stain removal 25.0%
Itaconix® TSI® 422 Boosts shine and cleaning performance 11.3%
Sodium citrate dihydrate Manages water hardness 8.8%
Protease enzyme Boosts protein soil removal 4.4%
Sodium silicate Protects glasses and dishes 1.7%
Amylase enzyme Boosts starch soil removal 1.5%
Liquid chamber:    
Alcohol alkoxylate surfactant Boosts grease removal and rinse aid 6.1%
Alcohol ethoxylate surfactant Boosts grease removal and rinse aid 3.1%.
Propylene glycol Process aid 1.3%
DI water Diluent 1.3%
Fragrance Adds scent to product q.s.
Colorant Adds color to liquid q.s.

 

Directions:

  • Powder:
  • Add sodium carbonate to mixer
  • Add Itaconix® TSI® 422, sodium citrate dihydrate, and sodium silicate, while mixing
  • Add enzymes while mixing
  • Add fragrance while mixing
    If the powder is below and remains below 95°F (35°C) then add sodium percarbonate and mix until homogenous with no clumps.
    If the powder exceeds 95°F (35°C) during or after blending in sodium percarbonate, stop blending and undertake standard safety procedures to cool and isolate the powder.

  • Liquid:
  • Add surfactants to a clean vessel with mixing
  • Add water and colorant to separate vessel with mixing
  • Add colored water to surfactant with mixing

  • Multi-chamber pod:
  • Add the powder to the powder chamber
  • Add the liquid to the liquid chamber(s)

Plant-Based Content: 55-90% based on ingredient selection
